Après des mois de spéculation, l'avenir du Champion du Monde MotoGP™ est désormais clair. Fabio Quartararo restera avec l'équipe Monster Energy Yamaha pendant encore deux ans après avoir signé un nouveau contrat jusqu'à fin 2024. Selon les rumeurs, le Français serait en pourparlers avec d'autres constructeurs MotoGP™, mais il a engagé son avenir dans l'usine d'Iwata d'ici accepter un nouvel accord de deux ans.
Quartararo a fait preuve de grandes compétences, de camaraderie et de cohérence jusqu'à présent au cours de ses deux années avec l'équipe Yamaha Factory Racing dans le Championnat du Monde MotoGP™. Ce partenariat réussi lui a permis de remporter son premier titre de champion du monde MotoGP™ l'année dernière, lors de sa toute première saison avec l'équipe Factory. Il est actuellement également en tête du classement 2022 avec 8 points.
