Repsol Honda ha confirmado el fichaje de Luca Marini. El piloto de 26 años se unió a la categoría reina en 2021 después de conseguir seis victorias y 15 podios en el Campeonato Mundial de Moto2™, terminando subcampeón en 2020. Desde que se unió a la categoría reina, Marini ha conseguido dos podios en Grandes Premios, dos poles y cuatro podios de Sprint en 2023. Se unirá a Joan Mir en el equipo de fábrica de Honda con un contrato de dos años.
