In a ceremony held early this afternoon at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit the tight right-hander that is turn four, generally always referred to as Honda Corner, will from today be renamed Miller Corner.

This was a special honour bestowed on Miller in what is his first, and most likely last, appearance as a full factory Ducati MotoGP rider on home turf.

Over the past 10 years, Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit have noticed an ever-growing sea of ‘Miller Army’ fans lining the fence of Turn 4 – With this corner also the place that Jack’s parents, Sonya and Peter, have watched his races from, meaning no doubt that Turn 4 holds a special place in Jack’s heart, his family’s heart, and his growing number of fans.

We have no doubt that come Sunday, Turn 4 will turn into a sea of Orange number 43’s as they cheer on one of our greatest and highly respected Australian MotoGP riders of this day and age

Jack Miller has taken the World racing scene by storm, and we believe his achievements, charismatic nature and commitment to inspiring and developing the next generation of Australian motorcycle riders must be honoured. On behalf of Linfox and the Fox family, it gives me great pleasure to declare that Turn 4 of the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit will now be named Miller Corner in Jack’s honour. It gives me great pleasure knowing that Jack will be joining three illustrious names of Australian motorsport, Wayne Gardner with Gardner Straight, Mick Doohan with Turn one’s Doohan Corner, and Casey Stoner with Turn three’s Stoner Corner.
