Customization & Design
Will I receive a visual mockup?
Yes — if you request a mockup or add customization.
• No customization + no mockup request → production starts directly and order is shipped within 4–7 business days
• No customization + mockup request → proof sent within 2–4 business days (Production begins only after approval)
• With customization → proof sent within 3–8 business days (Production begins only after approval)
Where will my custom name, number, or flag be placed?
Placement depends on the selected bike model and design.
In most cases, customization can be added to:
- Front Plate Only:
On the headlight mask or motocross front plate. Note that some headlight designs may not have enough space for this option. - Side Plates Only:
On the left and right side plates, usually near the rear of the bike. - All 3 Plates:
Applied to the front plate and both side plates for full personalization.
If you have a specific placement request, mention it in the Additional Comments section. Minor placement adjustments are included. More complex changes may require additional design time/fees.
Can I add my personal/custom logo to the graphics?
Yes! You can add your personal logo. Here's how:
- Mention your request in the "Additional Comments" section when selecting your graphic options.
- After placing your order, email your logo to order@motoproworks.com, along with your order number and any specific placement instructions.
- The logo must be in PDF, Adobe Illustrator or JPG in High Quality format.
Our team will work with you to include your logo in the final design.
Can you add logos like Red Bull, GoPro or Monster Energy to my graphics?
We cannot add copyrighted or trademarked logos without authorization. If you are an officially sponsored rider or part of an authorized team, you or your manager can contact us with the necessary documentation.
Can I order a kit if my bike has parts from different years or models?
Yes — but it’s important to let us know.
Our kits are designed for the OEM plastics of the selected model year. If your bike has mixed parts (for example, a 2014 KTM 690 SMC-R with a 2019 headlight mask), mention this in the Additional Comments section when ordering.
In most cases we can adjust the graphics to suit your setup. This requires additional design work, which will extend your production timeline.
Can I mix designs from different graphic kits?
In many cases, yes.
If you want to combine parts from different designs (for example, swapping one section with another kit), this is usually possible.
Mixing designs requires additional design work and will extend your production timeline. Extra fees may apply depending on the number of parts and complexity.
Mention the parts that you would like to combine it in the Additional Comments section when placing the order for the base kit and our design team will contact you and confirm if its possible and the extra fee, before processing your order.
Do you offer fully custom kits?
Fully custom graphics kits are currently paused.
Our design team is fully booked, and we’re prioritizing structured customization options within our existing collections while improving design and production timelines.
We’ll reopen fully custom projects once capacity allows.
Will my custom design be exclusive to me?
Designs created by MotoProWorks remain our intellectual property and may be reused, adapted, or offered in the future.
If exclusivity is important to you, please contact us before ordering to discuss available options.
Can you copy graphics from other designers or companies?
Fully custom graphic kits are currently paused while we focus on optimizing our design and production timelines.
We also respect intellectual property and do not replicate existing designs from other brands or designers.
If you have a style you like, you’re welcome to share it as inspiration. Where possible, our team can suggest adjustments within our existing designs to better match your preferences — while ensuring originality.
About Our Graphics Kits
What is included in a full kit?
A full graphics kit includes precision-cut decals tailored to your selected bike model and year.
For Street & Adventure bikes:
Kits typically include coverage for tank panels, side fairings, front fender, rear panels, headlight mask and other model-specific bodywork parts. For some Street models, like KTM 790-890 Duke, KTM 1290-1390 Super Duke and Husqvarna 801 Svartpilen, the decals for the pillion seat cover are also included.
For MX, Enduro & Supermoto bikes:
Kits are designed for plastic body components such as headlight mask/front late, front and rear fenders, fork guards, shrouds, swingarm sections, and number plates.
Exact coverage depends on the specific bike model and design.
Wheel graphics, matching graphics for hand guards and additional accessories are sold separately unless explicitly stated.
Do the graphics fully cover the motorbike parts, and does the base color matter?
Our graphics are designed for easy installation and durability, which means they do not fully wrap around the entire parts/plastics surface. Instead, they are fitted with a slight margin to prevent ripping or peeling during use.
The base color of your motorbike may influence the final appearance of the graphics. However, this depends largely on personal preference and the design you choose.
For inspiration, check out real-life examples on our Instagram page, where customers share their custom setups.
Can you show me a mockup of a specific design on my exact bike model and color?
We do not create individual mockups or edited previews for specific customer bikes.
For reference, check out real-life examples on our Instagram page, where customers share their custom setups.
Can I order only specific parts/sections of a graphics kit instead of the full kit?
At the moment, ordering individual sections of a kit (for example only tank shrouds, rear section, or front plate) is temporarily paused.
We’ve streamlined our design and production workflow to focus on complete kits, ensuring faster turnaround times, and a smoother experience for all riders.
Our production files are built and optimized as complete kits, and preparing specific parts requires additional manual design adjustments and production setup — often making it less price-efficient than ordering the full kit.
We understand that not every rider plans to install every piece. Many customers choose to order the full kit and install only the sections they want.
In most cases, the full kit offers the best value and flexibility.
If this option becomes available again in the future, we’ll announce it in our Help Center.
Are your graphics durable and high-quality?
Yes. After years of real-world riding and testing, we’ve selected motorcycle-grade vinyl and laminates built for demanding conditions.
Each kit features:
- High-Tack Vinyl & Protective Laminate
Purpose-built adhesive designed to handle demanding conditions.
Available in Gloss, Matte, Gold Glitter, Cosmic Glitter and Prismatic finishes — all produced with durable, thick protective layers to ensure protection from weather, UV and maximum durability - High-Resolution Color Printing
We use a 10-color ink system with up to 98% Pantone accuracy for vivid, consistent color reproduction.
All printing is handled in-house for quality control. - Precision Cutting
Industrial flatbed cutters ensure accurate die-cuts for clean fitment and easier installation.
Our focus is simple: graphics that hold up in real riding conditions — on-road and off-road.
Does the base material or laminate finish affect the final look?
Yes — the selected base material significantly affects the final appearance of your graphics.
Different bases (white, silver chrome, holo chrome, etc.) influence brightness, depth, and reflectivity.
When choosing a chrome base (silver or holo):
• Areas designed as white in the design will appear metallic/chrome when printed.
• This is because white ink is not printed by default — the chrome base shows through.
If you prefer this areas to remain solid white on a chrome base, you must request white ink printing before production.
Laminate finishes (gloss, matte, prismatic, etc.) affect surface texture and light reflection but do not change the structural durability of the kit.
Graphics mockups are visual references. Final results vary depending on base material and finish selection.
What if my bike model isn’t listed?
We’re constantly expanding our range.
If your bike isn’t listed yet, you can submit a request through our Model Request page.
Our team reviews all model requests regularly and evaluate them based on demand, fitment feasibility, and development capacity. If your model is added to the catalog, we’ll notify you.
Will the graphics fit aftermarket plastics/parts?
Our kits are designed for OEM plastics/parts.
Aftermarket plastics may vary in shape and fitment cannot be guaranteed.
Do you also offer plastics?
No. We sell graphics kits and decals only.
Installation
How do I install the graphics?
Installing graphics is straightforward with proper preparation and patience. Most of our graphic kits include a numbered diagram to help you identify and correctly place each piece. Follow these tips for the best results:
1. Prepare the Surface:
- Work in a dry, warm space (preferably indoors at room temperature).
- Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, grease, or polish that may weaken the adhesive. Use alcohol if necessary for a spotless finish.
2. Pre-fit the Graphics:
- Position the graphics on your bike before applying. Use tape to hold them in place and check alignment and spacing.
- Pay close attention to areas where parts need to match up, ensuring consistent margins around the decals.
3. Apply the Graphics:
- Slowly peel off the backing paper. You can start by removing a small section or peel gradually as you go.
- Take your time to avoid wrinkles or air bubbles.
- For tricky spots (like curves and edges), gently heat the vinyl with a hair dryer or heat gun to help it conform. Be cautious not to overheat.
4. Let It Set
- Allow the graphics to rest for at least 24 hours to ensure strong adhesion before riding.
For more help and step-by-step video tutorials, visit our How to Install page.
Should I remove old/OEM graphics before applying new ones?
Yes, it's recommended to remove OEM/old decals before applying new graphics. Leaving old stickers can trap dirt, air, or residue, leading to poor adhesion and bubbles.
However, if your OEM graphics have a lacquer coating, you can apply new graphics over them. Just ensure there is no air trapped underneath during installation to maintain a smooth, secure bond.
Here’s how to remove old decals:
- Warm the decals with a blow dryer or heat gun to soften the adhesive.
- Peel slowly to avoid tearing.
- Clean the surface thoroughly with soap and water to remove any oil or residue.
This will provide a clean and smooth surface for the new decals, ensuring proper adhesion and a flawless finish.
If you encounter difficulties, work gradually and apply heat carefully to avoid surface damage.
Should I install the graphics dry or wet?
Both methods can offer excellent durability when done correctly.
We use a high-tack, air-release (air-free channel) vinyl, designed to make installation easier and help reduce bubbles.
Dry installation is faster and gives immediate grip, making it the preferred option for most setups.
Wet installation can make repositioning easier, but you must remove all moisture with firm squeegee pressure. Any trapped water can affect adhesion if not fully removed.
If installing wet, use only a light water/soap mix and ensure the surface is completely dry before riding.
How should I wash my graphics after installation?
Wait at least 24 hours before washing your bike.
After that:
- Wash by hand with mild soap and water
- Avoid aggressive chemicals or solvents
- Do not use high-pressure washing directly on edges
- Keep the pressure washer at a safe distance
Proper care helps extend durability and prevent edge lifting.
Do you offer replacement graphics for crash damage or mounting issues?
Yes. Through our Crash-Code program, you can reorder either:
- A full kit reprint (50% OFF), or
- The specific sheet(s) that include the damaged parts.
Visit our Crash-Code page for full details.
Can I install graphics over custom paint?
We pride ourselves on using only the highest quality materials for our graphic kits. These materials are specifically designed for motorbike applications, ensuring durability and ease of use.
While our decals are developed for standard factory paint, custom paint jobs present unique challenges. Custom paintwork often involves a variety of paints and processes that differ significantly from factory standards. This variability can affect how our decals interact with the paint, particularly during removal.
At MotoProWorks, we believe in maintaining open and honest communication with our customers. We want to ensure that you are fully informed before applying our decals to custom paint jobs.
Recommendations for Custom Paint Owners
- Consultation: Before applying our decals, consider consulting with the workshop that executed your custom paint job. They can provide insights into the compatibility of our decals with your specific paint type.
- Testing: If possible, conduct a small patch test on an inconspicuous area of your motorbike to observe any potential reactions between the decal adhesive and your custom paint.
- Professional Assistance: For peace of mind, you might want to seek professional assistance in applying and removing decals, especially if your bike features a complex or delicate custom paint job.
Will the graphics fit aftermarket plastics/parts?
Our kits are designed for OEM plastics/parts.
Aftermarket plastics may vary in shape and fitment cannot be guaranteed.
