"Jeg er super glad for at kunne meddele, at jeg vil fortsætte mit eventyr i BLÅT! Sidste vinter beviste Yamaha for mig, at de har en ny tilgang og en ny aggressiv tankegang. Min selvtillid er høj; vi vil være tilbage til fronten sammen. For 6 år siden gav de mig chancen for at træde op til MotoGP, og siden da har vi opnået store ting sammen. Vi har stadig et stykke vej foran os, til at begynde at kæmpe om sejren igen. Jeg vil arbejde hårdt, og jeg er sikker på, at vi sammen vil opnå vores drøm igen!"
