Johann Zarco prolongou o seu contrato com a LCR Honda por mais dois anos, tornando-se o primeiro piloto contratado para a era do regulamento técnico de 2027. Um piloto de fábrica com Com total apoio da HRC, Zarco tem apresentado resultados fortes, incluindo uma vitória em Le Mans e um pódio em Silverstone. Tanto ele como a LCR pretendem continuar a desenvolver a moto e a lutar por resultados de topo.
