Pecco coronado campeón con Ducati en una decisiva y tensa carrera que vio a los aspirantes al título rozarse.

Francesco Bagnaia, del equipo Ducati Lenovo, ha ganado el Campeonato Mundial de MotoGP™ 2022 al terminar noveno en la última carrera de la temporada en el Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana, un título inédito para el piloto guiado por Valentino Rossi.

Fabio Quartararo, de Monster Energy Yamaha, comenzó el Gran Premio necesitando nada menos que la victoria para tener alguna esperanza de un segundo título consecutivo, pero terminó cuarto tras una dura lucha en una carrera ganada por Alex Rins, del equipo Suzuki Ecstar, una victoria más para el fabricante de Hamamatsu.

Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) y Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac Racing) completaron el podio tras 27 vueltas al Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
