KTM is an Austrian motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1953 by Hans Trunkenpolz. KTM was originally known as Kraftfahrzeuge Trunkenpolz Mattighofen, but it was renamed in 1992 to its current name of KTM Sportmotorcycle AG. KTM is now one of the world’s leading motorcycle manufacturers.
